Emerald Beauty

The title of best green ever goes to China Glaze's Emerald Sparkle. I never thought I would like any green polish, but this was the one that made me change my mind.

OPI Pearl of Wisdom

My NOTD is OPI Pearl of Wisdom over black. The black I used was China Glaze Patent Leather. I don't recommend that black for a layering polish. You need at least 2 coats of it to be streak free. It was also more of a brown black than a black black. I love the duochrome effect of Pearl of Wisdom. The sparkle is very subtle indoors, but in sunlight, the shimmer is dazzling. Can't wait to try it by itself even though I'm afraid it'll be sheer.

My blog

I know that there are tons of other nail polish blogs out there. I subscribe to and read most of them as well as the nail board at MUA. Instead of following and swatching all the new collections that come out, I will focus on the polishes in my collection that are lesser known. I have a medium sized collection of ~280 that you may view here. I like all colors, but my favorites are what are knows as "mom colors". If there is one polish in my collection that you would like to see, feel free to email me and I'll use that as my next manicure and post it here. As a mom of 2 babies under 2, I only have time to do full manicures, but I'll do my best on all requests. I hope you'll enjoy my blog.

Hard Candy Sky

I love this nail polish. It's in the old school square bottle with the jelly ring. It reminds me of the days when I used to be a teenager :) The formula is thin and streaky, but evens out with 3 coats. I also love that Sky looks like a cream, but has a subtle blue shimmer when you look very very closely.
